For poupees of the 1860/1875 era, the collection includes brown leather valise as sewing necessaire with purple silk lining and various miniature sewing tools; purple and black feathered padded muff with black cord ties; unusual lavender and white glass beading forming a basket, purple silk lined miniature note book "Menagerie" (in which a child years ago lettered the words "pour ma poupee Eloise"); and cream cashmere collared cape with lavender embroidery. Excellent condition. French, circa 1865.
