Description
28" (71 cm.) h. x 20"w. The dark walnut cabinet with detailed carving in the Brittany manner features an open case above lower chest with two sunflower-carved doors, and two attached side panels with mirrors. The cabinet has crest of garland scroll centered by carving of duck and there are two carved wooden animal heads on the side panels. Three wooden-handled rifles are displayed in the cabinet along with various other hunting tools and implements. Excellent condition. French, late 1800s.
