Description
19" (48 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead with plump rounded face, almond-shaped cobalt blue enamel eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees, porcelain arms to above the elbows, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Paris, Blampoix, circa 1860. Value Points: the brilliant eyes beautifully contrast the delicate complexion.
