Description
17" (43 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta head turned to the side, sculpted brown flowing hair, enamel eyes, tow-wrapped armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs to above the knees, bare feet, original wire-framed silk costume, attached wooden wings having very deep carving of feathers, original cream/brown/blue finish. Excellent condition, costume darkened, two fingers reglued. Neapolitan, late 1700s.
