Description
1 3/4" (4 cm.) inside head width. Firm-sided black velvet hat with upturned brim is lavishly covered with ivory silk draped ribbons and leaves, with silk lining, and presented in original bentwood hat box with green paper lining. Along with elbow-length cream kidskin gloves with overstitch detail, presented in original leather bound wooden case. Excellent condition. French, circa 1870.
