Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, pale blue glass spiral-threaded inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, lightly-feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, ears pierced into head, brunette human hair wig over cork pate, French wooden body with shapely torso, dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, bisque lower arms and legs, bare feet. Condition: generally excellent, restoration on right arm. Marks: 4. Comments: French, attributed to Pierre-Francois Jumeau, circa 1875. Value Points: very beautiful portrait like face, rare wooden body and bisque limbs, finely sculpted fingers, lovely antique costume.
