Description
14" (36 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, cobalt blue glass eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, delicately feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips, knees and elbows. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Aux Amis de l'Enfance (stamp on torso). Comments: French, circa 1870, the doll was presented in the luxury Parisian doll shop. Value Points: desirable petite size, the doll is wearing original brown silk gown with extended train, undergarments, woven bonnet and boots.
