Description
21" (53 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, mohair lashes, painted lower lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, outlined lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden fully-jointed body with shapely bosom and waist. Condition: generally excellent, baby finger chipped on left hand. Marks: 1159 S&H Dep 8 Germany (head) Heinrich Handwerck Germany (body). Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1900. Value Points: beautiful lady with Edwardian ivory silk and lace gown, lady body, original upswept mohair wig.
