Description
15" (38 cm.) Paper mache socket head of aged gentleman with fretful expression, blue glass eyes, painted age wrinkles, closed mouth, brunette human hair with attached brown felt hat, composition body with jointing at shoulders, elbows and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1885, when legs move back and forth, the head turns from side to side. Value Points: unusual expression, mechanism, and wearing original villager gentleman costume.
