21" (53 cm.) Blonde coiffure drawn back into arrangements of curls at the crown and nape and a cluster of curls at her forehead, hand-painted facial features including brows, lower lashes and lips. Wearing tagged intricately constructed ivory satin two-piece gown with padded draped bosom, shoulder drapes, and skirt that features knee-length draping at the front above a lace and satin lower skirt, and with an elaborate five-tier graduated-size bustle arrangement at the back, lace bodice and sleeves, matching satin panties, embroidered lace veil over a coronet of flowers, net stockings and cream slippers, cameo at the neckline, bouquet with satin ribbon streamers which includes rarely seen silk daisies. The gown is tagged "Madame Alexander New York All Rights Reserved". Very good/excellent condition, some wear to tulle of sleeves and bodice, bouquet dusty, few small spots on bodice. Alexander, with gold foil Fashion Academy medallion on wrist, the very rare model known as "Victorian Bride" wears superb couturier gown, 1951.
