32" (81 cm.) x 23" cabinet. Within a glass-fronted cabinet are displayed three Japanese paper mache Ichimatsu play dolls, each about 14" with enamel eyes, gofun complexion, painted features and original costumes. Two of the dolls are wearing their original Japanese kimonos and accessories, and one is shown without costume, with original paper-wrapped torso and artist's signature. Excellent condition. The display was an important teaching tool in the Museum, the dolls are circa 1925, and are removable from the display.
