10" (25 cm.) Bisque portrait shoulderhead of young child with sculpted short curly hair and painted tiny blue eyes, cloth body, bisque lower limbs with painted blue shoes and socks. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: MDT. Comments: portrait of the mid-century royal princess by famed NIADA artist, Martha Thompson, circa 1960. Value Points: very fine detail of modeling, the doll wears original smocked dress and undergarment.
