Description
17" (43 cm.) Porcelain shoulderhead with black sculpted hair waved away from her face and arranged with a large pouf of curls at the forehead, then drawn behind the fully-sculpted pierced ears into ringlet curls that tumble just to her shoulders, and also form a chignon at the back of her head; with painted blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, circle accents at nostrils, closed mouth, modeled bodice with delineation of tucks and trim, and having a sculpted blue bow and blue buttons; old muslin stitch-jointed body, antique gown and undergarments. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1875. Value Points: fancy coiffure with stippling details around the forehead, pierced ears, fancy bodice.
