Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked and multi-feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, shaded and accented lips, two porcelain teeth, blonde fleeced hair over plaster pate, composition bent-limb baby body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Q made in Germany 20 237 JDK Jr. 1914. Hilda. Comments: Kestner, circa 1914, their signature trademark doll of that year. Value Points: outstanding quality of bisque, sculpture and painting on the large model of the gentle-faced child, presented in absolutely pristine condition in its original wooden packing box with Kestner paper label.
