Description
16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head with very plump cheeks, blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked brows with feathered details, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, brunette human hair, composition and wooden fully-jointed body, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: VIII. Comments: Kestner, circa 1885. Value Points: very appealing bright expression on the closed mouth doll, original body and body finish.
