Description
18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted facial features, deeply-set blue eyes, dark upper eyeliner, one-stroke tapered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, very full accented lips, blonde mohair wig with side-coiled braids, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 101 46. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1910, from the art character reform series, the doll was marketed as Marie. Value Points: very fine sculpting of facial features and expression enhanced by finest bisque and complexion, original wig, body and body finish, beautiful antique costume.
