8" (20 cm.) Paper mache shoulderhead, black sculpted hair in soft curls around her face, painted blue eyes, single stroke brows, closed mouth, slender kid body, wooden lower arms and legs, painted orange flat shoes. Condition: very good, original finish with few rubs. Comments: Germany, circa 1860. Value Points: piquant smile on the early doll, original body and costume.
