Description
13" (33 cm.) Pink tinted bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth modeled as though open with wide beaming smile, two beaded lower teeth, blonde mohair wig, impressed cheek dimples, composition and wooden fully-jointed body, well costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 5636 3 Heubach (sunburst) Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1915. Value Points: very fine sculpting of dimples and character expression, enhanced by choice bisque and painting.
