Wax-over-paper mache swivel head with slender face, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, brown eye shadow, painted all-around lashes, arched brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced-in ears, brunette mohair wig in elaborate original coiffure, paper mache bodice with attached cloth collar, muslin body, paper mache lower limbs, painted orange heeled boots, nicely re-costumed in red velvet and print gown. Condition: very good/excellent, little rub on nose. Comments: Germany, probably Dressel, circa 1875. Value Points: rarity factors include swivel head on paper mache sculpted bodice with cloth collar, glass eyes, very ornate original coiffure, original body with fancy boots.
