Description
15" (38 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, flocked hair in short boyish style hair, painted facial features, intaglio blue eyes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth in downcast pouting expression, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 7602 Heubach (sunburst) Germany (head) (holz-masse stamp on body). Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912, well-preserved rarer-to-find flocked hair, original body and body finish.
