Description
15" (38 cm.) h. 4" diameter waist opening. Of fine cherry or maple wood, the four-legged walker has nicely-shaped legs and supports and rests upon four wooden wheels; with hinged opening at the waist. Known as "youpala", the structure was a mid-19th century fore-runner of today's baby walker and would nicely display with a 27"-32" doll with 13"-15" waist. Excellent condition, French, circa 1875, rare to find in this size.
