Description
16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth modeled as though open with outlined lips, two upper beaded teeth, tongue tip, auburn mohair wig, French composition and wooden fully-jointed toddler body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Toto N5 Mialonof A.L. & C. Limoge. Comments: Lanternier, circa 1915, designed by French artist Mialonof. Value Points: wonderful character with bon vivant expression, nice antique costume.
