Description
18" (46 cm.) Wax over paper mache shoulderhead, blue glass eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, muslin body, with wax over lower limbs, painted grey stockings and black heeled ankle boots with red trim. Condition: generally excellent, light craquelure on shoulderplate, left thumb tip broken off. Marks: Hair-stuffed Made in Germany (body stamp). Comments: Germany, circa 1875. Value Points: beautiful original coiffure, original signed body with fancy boots, original antique gown and undergarments.
