12" (30 cm.) Porcelain shoulderhead, black sculpted hair, painted blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, closed mouth, muslin body, porcelain lower arms. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1890, the doll has been recostumed as "Sewing Companion" with hidden sewing utensils on pockets of petticoat, hat as pincushion, and more. Value Points: charming presentation inspired by the 19th century original.
