23" (58 cm.) Solid domed paper mache shoulder plate, blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, closed mouth, original muslin stitch-jointed body, composition lower arms and legs, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent, some retouch on back shoulder plate. Comments: Germany, circa 1880. Value Points: beautiful facial complexion enhances the gentle expression, original body.
