Description
14" (36 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead with sculpted and painted light brown hair, painted facial features, intaglio blue eyes, black upper eyeliner, closed mouth with laughing expression, two beaded lower teeth, squeak box enclosed in carton torso and hidden under a fancy jester costume, with wooden handle. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach (square). Comments: Germany, circa 1912. Value Points: the laughing festive expression is a felicitous choice for the party favor, having factory-original costume, and when shaken, making a funny squeak sound.
