Description
15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head, small blue glass sleep eyes, painted curly lashes, incised eyeliner, arched feathered brows, accented eye corners, rounded nose, closed mouth modeled as though open, brunette mohair wig, composition baby body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: DIP 6 (incised Geschutz S&C Germany) green stamp. Comments: Swaine and Co, circa 1915. Value Points: well-modeled features on the very expressive face, wonderful multi-layered antique costume.
