Description
9" (23 cm.) overall. 4" to waist. Waist-up porcelain lady with sculpted grey hair in the 18th-century manner accented with a garland of Dresden flowers which encircle her crown, arms extended away from her nude bodice, Dresden rose held in her right hand and presented as though offering to someone. The half-doll is attached to pincushion base with fine tulle skirt and silk ribbons. Excellent condition. Germany, Dressel & Kister, circa 1915.
