8" (20 cm.) Carved wooden gorilla, two-part head, painted eyes, leather ears, mouth carved open in roaring expression, two rows of teeth, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1908, Style I. Value Points: very fine original finish of the rare animal, with two-part head and leather ears.
