All-bisque Kewpie with one-piece head, torso and legs, loop-jointed bisque arms with sculpted short sleeves that matches the sculpted and painted white sailor dress with blue middy scarf of the torso, sculpted white sailor cap with blue banding, and with painted side-glancing eyes, topknot which is visible hiding behind the cap, and unusual pink Kewpie wings. Marked O'Neill on feet. Excellent condition. Germany, from original designs by Rose O'Neill, circa 1915.
