Description
6" (15 cm.) All-bisque Kewpie in classic standing pose, one-piece head, torso and legs, loop-jointed arms, especially fine detail of modeled forelock and side curls, topknot, blue wings, side-glancing eyes, dash brows, and having painted white socks with blue rims and black Mary Jane shoes with little black bows. Marked O'Neill on feet. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1912, designed by Rose O'Neill.
