Description
3.5" (9 cm.) Seated atop a porcelain inkwell with gilt edging is an all-bisque one-piece figure of seated Kewpie with forelock, topknot, blue wings and side-glancing eyes, his arms clasping an oversized brown pen. Excellent condition. Marked c. Germany, c. 1915 designed by Rose O'Neill.
