Description
4.5" (11 cm.) One-piece bisque Kewpie half-lying on its back with left foot kicking merrily in the air has sculpted forelock, topknot, side-glancing eyes, and blue wings, and is attached to the lid of a heart-shaped trinket box decorated in pastel covers. Pencil noted on the underside of the box is Valentine Day, 1917. Excellent condition. Germany, c. 1915.
