Description
6" (15 cm.) One-piece all-bisque standing Kewpie, with slightly bowed head shaded by wide-brimmed "wicker" bisque sun hat, left arm folded behind the torso, and right arm extended to clasp the wooden handled metal rake held in the right hand. Kewpie's hair is completely covered by the sun hat except a little tendril at the back nape, and with side-glancing eyes and blue wings. Marked O'Neill on feet. Excellent condition. Germany, c. 1915, an unusually large size for this model.
