2" (5 cm.) (Kewpie, excluding tree trunk). One-piece all-bisque Kewpie posed seated on attached bench with arms outstretched to hold the ropes of the swing, with modeled forelock, topknot, blue wings and side-glancing eyes. The swing has original holes at each end to allow attachment to ribbons or wire for swinging, Kewpie and bench are displayed (detachable) with a later bisque swinging tree branch. Excellent condition. Kewpie is German, c. 1915, c. (in circle) on underside of bench, designed by Rose O'Neill.
