Description
5.5" (14 cm.) All-bisque one-piece Kewpie posed as though walking, his arms clasping the handle of a yellow broom, arranged upon a bisque platform with bisque vase behind Kewpie. Kewpie has forelock, topknot, side-glancing eyes, blue wings, and charming impish smile. Marked c. in circle. Germany, c. 1915, designed by Rose O'Neill, an unusually large size of the sweeper Kewpie with functional purpose.
