The bone-handled fan has delicate hand-painted scene of young girl in a contemplative pose, the image with scalloped paper edging, gilt paper accent and tassel, and presented in original silk-lined carton box with marbled paper cover. Excellent condition. French, very rare exquisite early accessory, mid-1800s.
