8" (20 cm.) Carrot-red caracul wig, clown-painted decorations on the face. Wearing tagged coral and turquoise taffeta clown costume with tulle ruffle at neck, gold metallic edging, gold shoes, and felt cap with applique flowers; his gold leash is attached to a plush white dog, "Huggy," with turquoise felt cap and pipe-cleaner legs. Near mint condition. Alexander, model 1264, 1955, with exceptionally beautiful painting of clown features, crisp and fresh costume.
