24" (61 cm.) x 30" framed. The well-detailed illustration is shaded black and white depicts a society matron and moustached older gentleman in a laughing scene, while the young woman has turned her head away toward a scene more interesting to her. Excellent detail of facial expressions, costumes, and background. Signed O'Neill in lower right. Matted and framed under glass. Excellent condition. Early 1900s by Rose O'Neill, the art work is similar to the illustrations she created for Puck Magazine at this time.
