4" (10 cm.) All-bisque Kewpie with rich black complexion has one-piece head, torso and legs, loop-jointed arms, with black painted forelock and topknot, blue wings, side-glancing eyes, coral-painted full lips. Excellent condition. Germany, c. 1915, designed by Rose O'Neill.
