Description
4.5" (11 cm.) All-bisque Kewpie in classic standing pose with loop-jointed arms, sculpted black fireman's helmet from station 206 nearly hides the blue wings peeking out beneath the wide brim, painted side-glancing googly eyes. Excellent condition. From original designs by Rose O'Neill, Germany, circa 1915, the significance (if any) of the number 206 is unknown, but curious.
