11" (28 cm.) All-bisque Kewpie in classic standing pose, loop-jointed arms, deeply-defined modeling of forelock, topknot, side curls, blue wings, painted side-glancing eyes. Marked O'Neill (foot). Excellent condition. Germany, c. 1915, from O'Neill designs, the largest size of the all-bisque Kewpie with especially fine luxury details of blush on fingers and toes and decorative glaze on sculpted hair.
