Description
3.7" (9 cm.) One-piece all-bisque pair of Kewpies are posed standing closely together, each holding the edge of a green covered bisque book, although their side-glancing eyes seem to be gazing at each other rather than the book, each with topknot, forelock, blue wings, and with an additional book, with painted brown cover, resting behind their bodies. Excellent condition. Marked c. in circle. Germany, c. 1915, from O'Neill designs.
