4" (10 cm.) overall h. 2". Kewpie. One-piece all-bisque Kewpie with folded arms is seated alongside an egg-shaped church with red steepled bell tower and steps leading to front door. Excellent condition. Marked c. in circle, 5411, and incised mark of crown over intertwined GW. Germany, Goebel, c. 1917, by Rose O'Neill, designed for amusing yet functional purpose as candy container.
