Description
8" (20 cm.) All-bisque Kewpie with one-piece head and torso, loop-jointed bisque arms and legs, sculpted topknot, forelock, blue wings and side-glancing eyes. Tiny chip on right pinkie, and rim chip on left leg. Remnants of original paper label on back torso. Germany, c. 1915, designed by Rose O'Neill.
