Description
4.5" (11 cm.) One-piece all-bisque seated Kewpie with endearing pigeon-toed feet, head tilted forward, and arms extended high in air, forelock, topknot, side-glancing eyes, and blue wings, and with original tiny drilled hole at side of head for attachment of object such as ribbon, flower and bug. Excellent condition. Marked c. in circle and with Kewpie red paper label. Germany, c. 1915, from O'Neill designs.
