18" (46 cm.) Tosca hair, walking style body. Wearing tagged Godey style floor-length gown with black velvet bodice, nylon taffeta skirt and sleeves, stiffened black net cap with black lace ruffle and tulle streamers, matching hooped pink petticoat and panties, net stockings, black front-snap shoes. A lavish bouquet of black-trimmed flowers cascades from her waist, matching the flowers in her bonnet, which was described in the original Alexander catalog as having "enormous chic", and she carries a black hat box with gold Fashion Academy medallion. Near mint condition. Alexander, from the rare Glamour Girl series, model #2010C, 1953, with rich vibrant colors of perfectly-preserved costume, complexion and coiffure.
