4" (10 cm.) h. 4" w. All-bisque standing Kewpie with topknot, forelock, side-glancing eyes and blue wings is standing on bisque platform, clasping a guitar, appearing as though about to perform; alongside is a bisque candy container egg shell with decorative flowered branch at the side extending to behind the Kewpie. There is a fine professional restoration at Kewpie's back extending to right side of platform. Marked c. in circle. Germany, c. 1915, very rare variation of the standing Kewpie with unusual original decoration of egg and platform.
