Description
28" (71 cm.) x 45" x 22"d. The wooden background scene of ruins features two areas, one with a faux-stone fountain with three lion heads taps, and on the other side a tumbling walls of ancient ruin structures. The wooden construction is finished with textured and painted gesso to achieve a realistic effect. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, mid-1700s.
