60" (152 cm.) All-wooden doll with solid domed oval-shaped head, painted black pate and complexion, enamel inset eyes, closed mouth, dowel-jointing at shoulders and elbows, shapely torso, with wooden "cage" form from waist downward. Condition: structurally excellent, restoration of painted finish. Comments: Continental, late 1700s. Value Points: rare early doll especially in this size.
